KRISH
Vijay Balakrishnan, popularly known as Krish, is an Indian film playback singer. Other than singing for prestigious South Indian music directors such as Harris Jayaraj, AR Rahman, and Yuvan Shankar Raja, among others, he has also sung a song in Walt Disney''s Enchanted and has been a performer in their Broadway Musicals. The singer debuted with Harris Jeyaraj''s Vennilave Velli Velli Nilave in Vettaiyadu Vilayadu. From there began Krish''s journey in the Tamil film industry. The song, ''June Pona'' in Unnale Unnale made him a household name, after which he became an inhouse singer for Harris Jayaraj. The song ''Oru Mugamo'' for the movie, Bheema, the song ''Karu Karu'' from Pachaikili Muthucharam, and ''Adiye Kolluthe'' from Vaaranam Aayiram are some of the most popular songs that he has sung for Harris Jayaraj.In one of his interviews, Krish has described is passion for music and acting, and that is the reason he equipped himself with western music skills and a degree in acting. He also studied Computer Science, just in case he failed to make it to his desired field. He got married to actress Sangeetha on February 1, 2009 at Thiruvannaamalai.
