Georgetown: Traffic is slow moving from Jelutong Expressway; likewise from Jalan Masjid Negeri via the Tien Tek highway to the bridge.

Penang Bridge: Traffic is generally smooth on the bridge; however slow moving from Udini, Bayan Lepas and the toll plaza getting onto the bridge.

Ipoh

Johor
Muar: clear

Johor Causeway: Traffic is slow moving on the light vehicle lane heading towards Singapore; meanwhile at the Woodlands Checkpoint traffic is heavy on all lanes getting out of Singapore.

Highways
KL-Seremban Highway: Traffic is slow moving from TUDM towards Kuchai Lama.

MRR2: Traffic is slow moving from Ukay Perdana towards Wangsa Maju and Taman Kencana towards Taman Maluri.

Federal Highway: Traffic is slow moving from Midvalley towards Kerinchi; likewise from AVON towards LDP interchange.

Clear highways: North South Expressway, NKVE, ELITE Expressway, SPRINT highway, KESAS highway and New Pantai Expressway.

Kuala Lumpur
In KL, traffic is generally slow moving along major roads within the city centre especially at these areas:-

Jln Tun Razak (near IJN) - PWTC,
Jln Hang Tuah - Jln Loke Yew,
Jln Sultan Ismail - Jln P.Ramlee,
Jln Bukit Bintang - Jln Pudu,
Surrounding areas of Puduraya,
Jln Ampang (near Renaissance Hotel) - KLCC

Other Areas
KL: Jln Raja will remain completely closed till August 31 for Merdeka Day rehearsal and Celebrations. There will be further road closures tomorrow on Merdeka Eve and on Merdeka Day itself in most states. Pls log on to your favorite radio station's website for details.

Putrajaya: The Malaysian International Fireworks comes to an end tonight at Dataran Gemilang in Putrajaya. As usual, public transportation will be available via NADI Putra and RAPID KL Buses and also via the ERL between Putrajaya Sentral and Dataran Gemilang. Pls adhere to all road diversions and traffic police instructions
